
B-Sens Host Back-To-Back Promo Nights Saturday & Sunday

BINGHAMTON, NY - The B-Sens face off against two divisional foes this weekend on home ice in back-to-back promotional nights. Binghamton hosts the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05p.m. Saturday for the annual Face Off Against Cancer Night presented by Lourdes. On Sunday the B-Sens entertain the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 3:05p.m. for Mascot Mania presented by McDonald's.
Saturday will feature tables and displays from Lourdes Hospital and the American Cancer Society along with various Relay for Life teams who will have raffles and drawings to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Special "Cowick Fights For A Cure" t-shirts will be available for $20 with $7 going directly to his campaign initiative.
During the pregame, winners of the 2014 Broome Sports Foundation Scholarships will be announced in an on-ice ceremony. The scholarships are awarded annually to high school and college students who have participated in local hockey programs.
Following the national anthem sung by Elk Lake High School, cancer survivor Kelly Schultz as well as members of the American Cancer Society will participate in a ceremonial puck drop.
Any cancer survivors in attendance are welcome down to the ice for a Survivor's Lap during the first intermission.
Discounted tickets are available for $15 with $2 being donated to the American Cancer Society. These tickets are only through the Binghamton Senators Executive Office which is located on the third floor of the Arena and open daily between 9:00a.m. and 5:30p.m. Fans can also purchase tickets by calling (607) 722-SENS (7367).
Sunday will be the Annual Mascot Mania Night presented by McDonald's with mascots from all over the Broome County and surrounding areas in attendance to interact with fans. Some of the mascots who will be in attendance include Stinger the Broome Community College Hornet, Blade from the Elmira Jackals and the Hamburglar.
McDonalds will have tables along the concourse with various raffles of autographed B-Sens and Ronald McDonald House memorabilia. All proceeds raised will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House.
Fans can stop by their local McDonald's for a coupon or bring in a McDonald's receipt to receive a special $15 ticket with $2 being donated to the Ronald McDonald House. This ticket offer is only at the B-Sens Executive Office.
Sunday is also a Matthews Auto Rewards Night where fans that present their Matthews Rewards Card at the time of purchase receive $3 off. This offer is valid at either the B-Sens Executive Office or the Broome County Box Office and is limited to two tickets per card.
