BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 3, 2014) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forward Josh Holmstrom has been signed to an amateur tryout contract (ATO). Additionally, forward Brock Montpetit has been released from his ATO.

Holmstrom, 24, recently completed a four-year career at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. He skated in 154 games over four seasons with the River Hawks and scored 74 points (31 goals, 43 assists). In his final season, Montpetit scored 69 points (28 goals, 41 assists) in 55 games.
