Manson Recalled to Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Lane Manson has been recalled to the American Hockey League by the Chicago Wolves.

Selected by Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round with the 124th overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the rookie makes his first trip to the AHL during the regular season after attending the Wolves training camp.

The Watrous, Saskatchewan native has appeared in 9 games with the Gladiators where he has posted a +4 rating. The 6-foot-9, 235-pound defenseman has also recorded 14 penalty minutes with the Gladiators.

Manson should be available for the Wolves as they travel to St. John's for back to back games on Friday, November 12th and Saturday, November 13th.
