ESTERO, FL â Florida Everblades head coach Gerry Fleming announced today that forward Brad Church has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve list, retroactive to November 8.
Church, 27, injured his shoulder during Florida's game at Long Beach on November 6 in the first period of play. Prior to being placed on the IR, the Dauphin, Manitoba native had collected five points (2g, 3a) in the first eight games.
Now in his ninth year professionally, Church joins Reggie Berg, Cody Doucette and Chris Hodgson on the IR for the Everblades.
Florida continues its six-game west coast swing on Wednesday, November 10 when the team takes on the Idaho Steelheads in the first of three straight games between the teams this week. All games at Idaho begin at 9:05 p.m./EST.
