
Manpower, Binghamton Mets Reach out to Unemployed in Greater Binghamton Area

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Mets and Manpower, in conjunction with the New York State Department of Labor, announced today the team's second annual Workforce Night set for Wednesday, June 1st at 6:35 PM. Manpower, a national staffing agency with a local office in Vestal, NY, has taken the lead as title sponsor of the evening and is aiding the B-Mets and the NYS Department of Labor in distributing 5,000 free tickets to the unemployed and their families for this burden-free night at NYSEG Stadium.
Upon proof of unemployment, individuals can receive up to two vouchers, which are redeemable for two reserved grandstand tickets to the June 1stgame. Vouchers are available at one of three locations in the Greater Binghamton area while supplies last:

"We are proud to team up with Manpower and the Department of Labor to be able to offer free tickets for fans that may not otherwise be able to attend a B-Mets game," Binghamton Mets General Manager Jim Weed said.
Manpower will have its professionals on hand at NYSEG Stadium the night of the game to assist unemployed attendees in finding and securing potential job leads locally. Gates open at 5:30 PM for the event.
Vouchers will be honored at the NYSEG Stadium box office effective immediately and are subject to seating availability on a first-come-first-serve basis.
