BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox import the savory flavors of Ireland during the Salute to the Irish Beer Dinner at Prince George's Stadium Wednesday, June 15, as the team takes on the Reading Phillies at 7:05 p.m. The event takes place in the Diamond View Restaurant at Prince George's Stadium and features a two-hour buffet and three-hour open bar with Irish themes.

Baysox Community Programs Manager Dana DeFilippo organized the dinner. "The climate-controlled Diamond View Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy the event." DeFilippo said. "Fans can enjoy the delicious food and all the action from either the air-conditioned interior or from seats on a deck outside the restaurant. The restaurant provides a great view of the field."

The buffet starts at 6 p.m. and features Irish fare including Irish beef stew with Murphy's Stout, shepherd's pie, shannon salmon, homemade Irish soda bread and more. The open bar also begins serving at 6 p.m. and includes Old Dominion Oak Barrel Stout, Goose Island Honkers Ale, Tennent's Lager, Bass Ale, Boddington's Pub Ale and assorted bottled and draft beers. Soft drinks and water are also available.

Tickets for the beer dinner are $41 or $37 for season ticket and mini-plan holders. For more information or to order tickets, fans can contact Dana DeFilippo at (301) 464-4855. Tickets must be purchased by 3 p.m. Monday, June 13.
