Goals:
?- While on the powerplay, Eric Tangradi tries to centre the puck from the corner but it goes off the skate of the Moose defenceman and deflects past Connor Hellebuyck at 2:10 of the first period.
?- Eric Tangradi takes a hard low shot on net off the right pad of Hellebuyck, the rebound comes right out to Andy Miele who scores at 7:13 of the first period.
?- While in the Moose zone, Andy Miele sends a cross ice pass to Anthony Mantha who takes a one-timer beating Hellebuyck at 11:13 of the first period.
?- Just 21 seconds into the second period Anthony Mantha passes it out front to Eric Tangradi who backhands a shot past Hellebuyck.
?- A rebound after an Eric Tangradi shot comes right to the stick of Robbie Russo who wrists it past Hellebuyck at 7:13 of the second period.
?- While on the powerplay Brenden Kichton sets up Chase De Leo with a cross ice pass and he wrists it past past Jared Coreau at 5:07 of the third period.
?- On the rush, John Albert takes a slap shot and the rebound is picked up by Dan DeSalvo who sweeps it in past Coreau at 7:16 of the third period.
?- During a two-on-one Anthony Mantha passes to Nick Jensen who fires a shot past the glove of Hellebuyck at 13:46 of the third period.
?- While on the powerplay Robbie Russo sends a cross-ice pass to Tyler Bertuzzi who one-times it past Hellebuyck at 18:46 of the third period.
Highlights/Notes:
?- Chase De Leo scored his 16th goal of the season. He leads all Moose players in goals, points (33) and powerplay goals (8).
?- After picking up his first career point with an assist in his first career AHL game this past Wednesday, Dan DeSalvo recorded his first career AHL goal in his second game tonight. He was the Tulsa Oilers (ECHL) leading scorer at the time of being signed by the Moose.
?- Patrice Cormier extended his point streak to three games with an assist. In his last seven games he has three goals and three assist for six points.
?- John Albert returned to the Moose lineup after missing four games due to a lower body injury. He recorded an assist in the game.
?- Moose goaltender Connor Hellebuyck allowed seven goals on 35 shots in the game.
?- Former Winnipeg Jets player Eric Tangradi had an AHL career high five point night with two goals and three assists. He factored in on the first five goals of the game. In three games against the Moose this season, Tangradi has three goals and five assists for eight points.
?- The Moose now have a 1-2-0-0 record against the Griffins this year in the season series. They will play once more before the end of the regular season.
The Moose will face the Grand Rapids Griffins in the fourth and final meeting of the season series on Saturday, Mar. 12 at the Van Andel Arena at 6 p.m. CT
