Colorado Mammoth News Release

DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that it has acquired forward Tim Campeau and a 2nd-round pick in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft from the Minnesota Swarm in exchange for forward Jamie Shewchuk and Colorado's 4th-round selection in 2012.

In two-plus seasons in the National Lacrosse League, Campeau has scored 25 goals and recorded 58 assists.

"The results until now haven't been acceptable," said Mammoth President and General Manager Steve Govett. "Tim is a gritty, tough role-player that does his job extremely well."

The Mammoth is also looking to the future by securing another early-round selection in the upcoming Entry Draft.

"The pick we acquired today is a top-20 selection in what we know is a very good draft," said Govett.

Campeau is expected to join the team in Boston as the Mammoth takes on the Blazers this Saturday, February 12, at 5:30pm MST. The game will air on tape-delay on Altitude Sports & Entertainment on Sunday night at 11:00pm.
