Boston's Dan Dawson Named Offensive Player of the Week

Boston, MA (February 9, 2011) Boston Blazers captain Dan Dawson was named the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Offensive Player of the Week today for his stand-out performance against the Toronto Rock last Saturday evening. Dawson is the first Blazers player this season to receive Player of the Week honors.
In the squad's 9-7 victory over the top-ranked Rock last weekend, Dawson led Boston with three goals and two assists. Dawson's performance also marked a career milestone as his first goal of the evening marked his 300th regular season goal. A three-time First Team All-Pro, Dawson currently leads the league in assists (31) and is second after fellow Blazer Casey Powell in points (43).
