Washington Stealth All-Access Lineup for February 10
February 9, 2011 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Washington Stealth News Release
Everett, Wash. -- "Washington Stealth All-Access", the weekly lacrosse radio show on KRKO, Fox Sports 1380 AM, will continue Thursday, February 10 at 5:30pm PST. This week will feature interviews with Stealth forward Jeff Zywicki, IL Indoor.com analyst Teddy Jenner, Edmonton Rush Head Coach Derek Keenan and continue the weekly call-in segment featuring lacrosse superstar Paul Rabil.
The Stealth evened their record at 3-3 last weekend with a 10-8 victory over the Colorado Mammoth. It's the second game the team has won without one of the NLL's top scorers, Jeff Zywicki. Zywicki will talk about his recovery as he prepares to get back on the floor, what he's seen from his teammates in his absence and what the Stealth needs to do to pick up a pair of wins over the Edmonton Rush this weekend.
It's been an exciting NLL season so far with no team out of the playoff hunt. IL Indoor.com analyst Teddy Jenner will break down this weekend's action in "Around the NLL".
The last time the Stealth and Rush met, it was in the West Division Final where the Stealth escaped in an 11-10 overtime thriller. The teams will meet again for two games this weekend; the Rush still searching for its first win in 2011. Edmonton bench boss Derek Keenan will be on the show to talk about the team's struggles early on and how they plan to get back on track this weekend against the defending champs.
Stealth transition player Paul Rabil will make his weekly appearance on the show, giving his input on this weekend's games between the Stealth and Rush and to answer your questions live on the air.
The Washington lacrosse community suffered a tremendous loss just over a week ago with the untimely death of Issaquah All-Star defenseman Tyler Lucas. This weekend, the Stealth and the entire Washington lacrosse community will come together to celebrate Tyler's life in a pregame ceremony before the Stealth take on the Edmonton Rush at the Comcast Arena. One of Tyler's coaches, Fred Wilmot of WALAX.com and the Seattle Starz, will talk about Tyler's impact on lacrosse not only in Issaquah, but throughout Western Washington.
"Washington Stealth All-Access" airs weekly on Thursdays at 5:30pm on your radio dial on KRKO 1380 AM, or can be listened to live at www.krko.com. You can call-in to the show by dialing (425) 304-1380 or email your questions to radio@stealthlax.com.
