
Mallards Fall in Bloomington 4-1

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (December 11, 2010) - John Snowden scored two power play goals and Alan Mazur picked up four assists as the host Bloomington PrairieThunder defeated the Quad City Mallards 4-1 Friday night.
Snowden struck twice in the first period. He first swooped free of a goalmouth scramble to give the PrairieThunder a 1-0 lead at the 13:42 mark and then pounced on a rebound to double the margin at 18:20. Snowden's second goal would prove to be the game winner.
Bill Bagron stretched the Bloomington lead to 3-0 by burying Mazur's centering pass at 6:25 of the second period.
The Mallards got on the scoreboard when Shane Lovdahl scored a 4-on-3 power play goal from the high slot at 13:31 of the second.
Brett Holmberg drove the puck home from the slot to finish off Mallard comeback hopes and widen the gap to 4-1 at 14:02 of the third period.
The Mallards return to action at home against the Fort Wayne Komets tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. Tomorrow is a Mallards' Family Day presented by APAC Customer Services, Inc., and Mix 96. Fans can purchase four tickets to tomorrow's game anywhere in the i wireless Center, four beverages and four hot dogs all for just $34.
Fans attending tomorrow's game will also have the chance to join their favorite Mallards on the ice. A postgame skate with the Mallards follows each Sunday home contest this season. This will be the third of four Mallards Family Days.
In addition, fans are invited to join the Mallards for a postgame event at Chili's in Davenport following tomorrow's contest. Chili's Iocated at 4020 East 53rd Street.

The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days other than Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the end of the first period. On Sundays on which the Mallards play at home the ticket office will be open from 1:00 p.m. until the end of the first period.
