Kalamazoo, MI- The Wings Stadium Complex, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube", announces that the complex will host a Toys for Tots Skate in The Annex on Sunday, December 10th from 2-3:45 p.m.
Admission for the Toys for Tots Skate is $5; individuals that need skates can rent them for $2.
Skaters bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the skate will receive $2 off admission. The Toys for Tots skate gives the community a chance to give back to children less fortunate.
Toys for Tots is a not-for-profit public charity that distributes toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. Efforts, which began in October last until December 22nd. Toys that are gathered will be delivered on December 23rd and 24th.
Stadium Management Company owns both the Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. The Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for most non-ice events. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities, playing host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
