Game Recaps
Wednesday, Nov. 22 Kalamazoo 0 vs. Port Huron 4
The Flags dominated the Wings, scoring 3 power play goals and one empty-netter to secure their second straight win at home and their first winning streak of the season. Dustin Traylen held the Wings scoreless, recording his second shut-out of the year and shutting down the defending champions' powerful scoring attack, which contains Nick Bootland, Glenn Detulleo and Kory Karlander.
Friday, Nov. 24 Port Huron 3 vs. Kalamazoo 7
Going 0 for 6 on their power plays, the Flags were unable to beat the Wings at home. Shayne Tomlinson and Greg Bullock each netted unassisted goals and Jeremy Tucker scored the third for the Flags, but Kalamazoo's offense and home court advantage were too much to overcome.
Saturday, Nov. 25 Port Huron 1 vs. Bloomington 3
The PrairieThunder took advantage of the second period, scoring all 3 of its goals. Former Flags Jeff Cameron and Ryan Gillis had a hand in 2 of the goals, recording an assist each. Josh Elzinga scored early in the third, off assists from Jason Price and Jeremy Tucker, but Bloomington's defense allowed nothing else.
