
Maine Celtics Announce Training Camp Roster

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Celtics selected Wendell Green, Jr. in today's 2023 NBA G League Draft. Green is expected to join the Maine Celtics for training camp, which begins Tuesday at the Portland Expo.
Maine selected Green 30th overall. A rookie guard, Green played in four games for the Cleveland Cavaliers at NBA Summer League this year. The Auburn product started all 34 games in his third and final collegiate season, averaging 13.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in his junior campaign with the Tigers.
Additionally, the Celtics announced their training camp roster for the 2023-24 season. The Maine Celtics are led by Two-Way Players JD Davison, Nathan Knight, and Neemias Queta. The roster also includes NBA veteran Tony Snell, who returns to Maine for a second season. Marvin Smith, Jr. and Jacob Young are also returning from last year's team that won 30 games and advanced to the NBA G League Playoffs.
