Go-Go Select David Muoka with Third Overall Pick in 2023 NBA G League Draft

WASHINGTON, DC - The Capital City Go-Go, the NBA G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, selected David Muoka (University of Nevada, Las Vegas), with the third overall pick in the 2023 NBA G League Draft. The third overall pick, which was acquired from Westchester via College Park, is the highest pick ever in Capital City Go-Go history.

Muoka (6-10, 235), an NBA Draft eligible player, averaged 4.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks while shooting 54.2% from the field in 27 games (19 starts) as a senior at UNLV in 2022-23. The 22-year-old Hong Kong native played two seasons at Lamar University before transferring to UNLV prior to the 2021-22 season. Muoka holds averages of 3.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game while shooting 54.1% from the field at the collegiate level in 121 games (57 starts).
