Maine Celtics Announce 2022-23 Season Schedule

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Celtics, presented by Unum, announced their schedule today for the upcoming 2022-23 NBA G League season.
The Celtics' 50-game G League schedule tips off at the Portland Expo on Friday, Nov. 4 against the Westchester Knicks. Maine will play its traditional 24-game home schedule in 2022-23, with all home games taking place at the Expo.
Like last season, the 2022-23 NBA G League season will be split into two parts. The first 18 games of the schedule are the Showcase Cup, a competition featuring all 30 NBA G League teams. The Showcase Cup will culminate with a championship in December at the annual NBA G League Winter Showcase in Las Vegas. All teams' records will then reset for the remaining 32-game slate, followed by the traditional NBA G League Playoffs.
The Celtics will play 18 different NBA G League opponents this season. Maine will host its traditional New Year's Eve matinee game against defending NBA G League champion Rio Grande Valley on Dec. 31 at 3:00 p.m. That game is part of a stretch where eleven of 15 games are played at home from Dec. 30-Feb. 4. The regular season concludes with a home showdown with Westchester on March 23.
