Wisconsin Herd Announces 2022-23 Schedule

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will tip off its fifth season anniversary at Oshkosh Arena on Friday, Nov. 4 against the Windy City Bulls at 7 p.m. CT. This will be the first of 16 games the Herd will play as part of the Showcase Cup, followed by two games at the NBA G League Winter Showcase in Las Vegas. After the Winter Showcase, teams will compete in a traditional 32-game regular season.
The 2022-23 NBA G League schedule will consist of an 16-game Showcase Cup from Nov. 4 to Dec. 17, culminating with two games taking place at the NBA G League Winter Showcase Tournament in Las Vegas from Dec. 19- 22. Following the Winter Showcase, all teams will start a 32-game regular season which will bring the season total to 50 games. The regular season will start Dec. 27 and conclude on Mar. 25, with the playoffs following shortly after.
The Showcase Cup will feature all NBA G League teams separated into four regional pods where each team will play 16 games. The teams with the best winning percentage in each regional pod, as well as the four teams with the next-best winning percentage across the league, will go on to play in a single-elimination tournament at the NBA G League Winter Showcase. The winners and runners-up will compete for a trophy and a monetary prize. Teams that do not qualify for the Showcase Cup tournament will still play two additional games at the NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Following the Showcase Cup, all team records will reset, and beginning Dec. 27 teams will play a traditional 32-game regular season. The top six teams of each conference, based on winning percentage from the regular season, will qualify for the NBA G League playoffs starting on Mar. 28.

The Herd will play 12 of its 24-home games on the weekend (Friday and Saturday), with 13 different opponents set to play in Oshkosh this season. Home games will tip-off at 6 p.m. on weekdays (Monday-Thursday) and 7 p.m. on weekends (Friday and Saturday) except for the Herd's School Day Matinee presented by BMO on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023 vs. Westchester at 11:30 a.m. and Saturday, Mar. 4, 2023, at 11:30 a.m.
