The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, defeated the Erie BayHawks 113-88 in front of a home crowd at the RP Funding Center.

The Magic jumped out to a big lead, ending the first frame up 37-18 and they didn't look back. Lakeland extended the lead to 20 points on a three-pointer by Josh Magette with 6:15 remaining in the second quarter and would take a 68-42 lead into the locker room at the half.

The Magic continued the hot streak in the third and led the BayHawks, 87-58 going into the final quarter of play. Erie fought back in the fourth outscoring Lakeland 30-26 but the damage was already done and Lakeland would secure the win with the final score 113-88.

Eight of nine players scored in double figures for the Magic. Two-Way Player, BJ Johnson led the team with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Two-Way Player, Josh Magette had 14 points and 8 assists on the night. Vic Law was just shy of the double-double with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Isaac Humphries scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Stephen Domingo posted 10 points and 7 rebounds. Michale Kyser came off the bench with the double-double scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jon Davis was also a key contributor with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

Javon Bess led the way for Erie with 22 points. Vlatko Cancar posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. E.C. Kavell Bigby-Williams also had a double-double in tonight's contest scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Quinton Chievous posted 11 points and 4 rebounds.

The Lakeland Magic are back at home on Wednesday, November 20 against the Wisconsin Herd. Tip-off at the RP Funding Center is set for 7:00 pm. The game will be available on ESPN+.
