Wisconsin Herd News Release

The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, tallied their fourth consecutive win with a 132-106 victory over the Capital City Go-Go on Sunday afternoon inside the Entertainment and Sports Arena.

Six Herd players scored in double figures led by three players who recorded 20 or more points. Jaylen Adams buried seven three-pointers, collected his second 20-point game of the season and totaled a game-high 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Cameron Reynolds posted a stat line of 24 points, four rebounds, two assists and four steals, and has now scored 20 or more points in back-to-back games. Luke Maye added a season-high 22 points, five threes and seven rebounds off the bench, while Shannon Bogues recorded his first double figure scoring effort and registered a season-high 19 points. Rayjon Tucker had 16 points and three assists, and D.J. Hogg pitched in with 11 points in a reserve role.

Admiral Schofield, who was assigned to Capital City by the Washington Wizards, paced all Go-Go players with a team-high 24 points on 10-of-16 shooting. Jalen Hudson scored 21 points off the bench, while Justin Robinson, the Go-Go's other assignment player, registered a stat line of 20 points, four assists and five steals. Chris Chiozza tallied the lone double-double for either team and posted 11 points, six rebounds and 13 assists, and Kellen Dunham had 10 points in nearly 25 minutes of action.

Wisconsin got off to an efficient start offensively and were led by the duo of Reynolds and Tucker. The pair combined to score the Herd's first 16 points and shot a combined six-for-nine in the period. The outset of the game featured a seesaw battle as there was one tie and five lead changes in the opening five minutes. Wisconsin eventually created separation and owned a double-digit lead by the end of the stanza. In total, the Herd made six three-pointers and shot 57 percent in the frame. Adams capped the first quarter by nailing a three at the buzzer, and Wisconsin led 30-20 heading to the second period.

To start the second period, the Herd tallied the first eight points of the period and increased their lead to 18. Wisconsin eventually extended their advantaged to 20 and ultimately led by 24 points in the half. Reynolds followed his eight-point first quarter performance by scoring 12 points in the second quarter. Conversely, Schofield tried to keep the Go-Go afloat as he totaled 12 of Capital City's 25 second quarter points. Despite his performance in the period, the Herd shot 53 percent in the first half, outscored Capital City by double figures in each quarter and led 66-45 at the intermission.

Wisconsin's offensive rhythm persisted in the second half as the team shot an astounding 76 percent from the floor and scored 40 third quarter points. The field goal percentage is the highest of any quarter this season and the 40 points serve as the second-largest point total the team has scored in a single period this season. Early in the quarter, the Herd forged ahead and increased their lead to 26 points after back-to-back three-pointers by Maye and Adams. With just over 90 seconds remaining in the period, Capital City managed to trim Wisconsin's lead to 16 points but couldn't cut further into it. Wisconsin concluded the frame by scoring 13 of the final 17 points and led 106-81 heading into the final 12 minutes.

In the fourth quarter, the Herd collected their largest lead of the afternoon and led by 28 after Maye connected on an old-fashioned three-point play. For the game, Capital City led by one on a couple occasions, but trailed for the final 40 minutes of the game. Wisconsin set season highs in points, field goals and field percentage, and for the fifth straight game, Wisconsin grabbed 50 rebounds. The 106 points allowed also serves as the fewest points the team has given up this season.

The Herd have now won four straight games which ties the longest winning streak in franchise history. The last time Wisconsin won four consecutive games was Jan. 19-27, 2019 when the team picked up victories over Capital City, Windy City, Canton and Erie. Additionally, the Herd have won both meetings against the Go-Go this season and are 3-1 all-time against Capital City.

Wisconsin will continue their four-game road trip as the head south to take on the Lakeland Magic. Tip-off inside the RP Funding Center is set for 6:00pm on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The game can be found on ESPN+, or by visiting gleague.nba.com.
