
MacLean and Masse assigned to Reading

The HERSHEY BEARS announced today the club has reassoigned right wing Cail MacLean and left wing David Masse to the Reading Royals (ECHL). The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst and the HERSHEY coaching staff. With the roster moves, HERSHEY'S roster now stands at 25 players with one preseason game remaining.
MacLean played for HERSHEY on Saturday in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and was held scoreless. Masse played in both Saturday's road game against the Penguins and Sunday's home game vs. Binghamton. He scored one goal during the 2004 preseason for the BEARS. Both players will report to Reading's training camp, which starts on October 11.
The BEARS open the 2004-05 season on Friday, October 15 at Norfolk before opening the home schedule the following night on Saturday, October 16.
