MANCHESTER- Rafael Lantigua had three hits, including a two-run double to snap a 2-2 tie in the fifth inning and lift the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to a 6-2 win over the Hartford Yard Goats Friday night. Hartford and New Hampshire have split the first four games of the six-game series.
Willie MacIver slugged his 11th home run of the season and Daniel Montano his sixth of the season for Hartford. Grant Lavigne, former Colorado Rockies first-round draft choice, collected his first hit for Hartford, a single to right field in the seventh inning.
MacIver and Isaac Collins each had two hits for Hartford, 5-5 in the second-half.
The series continues tomorrow night at 7:05. RHP Noah Davis will pitch for Hartford vs. RHP Paxton Schultz for New Hampshire. The game will be broadcast on News Radio 1410 AM, WPOP 100.9 FM, newsradio1410.iheart.com and milb.tv
