Louisville jumped out to an early 3-0 lead off starter Rick Bauer. All three of the runs came with two outs. The Lynx came back with a run of their own in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Ron Calloway scored a two-out walk and was driven home on Brennan King's RBI double. But the Bats came back in the very next inning to extend the lead to three runs. The Lynx clawed back with another run in the bottom of the 4th inning when Chris Roberson drove Danny Sandoval home with an RBI single. But again, Louisville answered the next inning to make the final score, 5-2. The Lynx couldn't muster any offence in the final half of the game and were saddled with their 3rd straight loss.
Next Game: The Lynx look for revenge against the Louisville Bats in the third of a four-game series Thursday night at Lynx Stadium. Game time is 6:05 pm..
