Bisons Announce Doubleheader Dates/Times in Richmond
May 2, 2007 - International League (IL1)
Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons today announced that two of the four games postponed from their season-opening series against the Richmond Braves will be made up when the Herd visits Richmond in June. The teams will play back-to-back doubleheaders on June 9 (6:00 p.m.) and June 10 (2:00 p.m.).
The other two games will not be made up.
To maintain competitive fairness, the International League has decided that the Bisons will serve as the home team for the first game of each doubleheader. This change has been made for the 2007 season only.
The Bisons were set to open the 2007 season with a four-game series against the Richmond Braves, April 5-8. All four games were postponed because of snow and freezing temperatures. Because it was the Braves only scheduled visit to Dunn Tire Park this season, the postponed games that can be made up must be transferred to Richmond.
