International League Finals - Sunday, June 4th 2006 @ Lynx Stadium, Ottawa, Ontario
RF Keith Reed went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, leading the Ottawa Lynx to a 6-1 victory over the Toledo Mud Hens in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader. RHP Tim Kester held Toledo to one run in 5.0 innings to collect his first win. The Lynx fell 6-2 to the Mud Hens in the first game. The attendance for Sunday's doubleheader was 3,905.
This coming Wednesday, June 7th, former Montreal Expo star pitcher El Presedente El Perfecto Dennis Martinez will be appear at 5:30 to sign autographs for the fans at Lynx Stadium prior to the Lynx 6:05 pm game.
The split of the doubleheader give the Lynx a series victory over Toledo (and 8 wins in 11 games) and leaves Ottawa with a 28-29 record on the season.
