Auburn Doubledays News Release
AUBURN, NY - The Auburn Doubledays of the New York-Penn League, Single-A Short Season affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce the creation of a customer loyalty program that will reward fans for purchases made at the stadium concessions and merchandise stands this season.
The new loyalty program is free to join and is the result of a partnership between the Doubledays and Stadium 1 Software, LLC. Fans can join the loyalty program by visiting http://doubledays.stadium1.com/fan in a web browser on a computer or mobile device. After completing the registration process, fans will be able to earn points redeemable for a variety of concessions items.
Once registered, fans earn points at the stadium simply by logging into their account at http://doubledays.stadium1.com/fan on their smartphone's browser and then showing their unique QR code to the cashier at the time of purchase. Cashiers will also have the ability to look up customer accounts if necessary.
"We are very excited to roll out this loyalty program for the 2016 season," said Doubledays General Manager Mike Voutsinas. "The program reward levels are set up in a way that all fans will be able to participate whether you attend one game or all 38."
In addition to the loyalty program, the new partnership between the Doubledays and Stadium 1 will also allow fans to order food and beverages from the 10 box seat sections of Falcon Park and have their order delivered directly to their seats, a feature that is currently in the final stages of development and will be rolled out at a later date this season.
"We know our fans will enjoy the in-seat food delivery option in the box seating areas," Voutsinas continued. "We are disappointed that this feature is not ready for Opening Day, but making sure the in-seat ordering and delivery process works seamlessly for our fans is of the utmost importance. Therefore, Stadium 1 and the Doubledays have mutually decided to delay the implementation of this feature until a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we look forward to the addition of this feature to our constantly improving fan experience mix."
The Doubledays will host the Batavia Muckdogs at 7:05pm tonight in the first game of the 2016 season for both clubs. Gates will open at 6:00pm and a pre-game ceremony that will include player introductions will begin at 6:30pm. Tickets for Opening Day and all other Doubledays home games can be purchased in person at Falcon Park, by calling 315-255-2489, or online at AuburnDoubledays.com.
