LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (March 26th, 2015)-- -- Louisville City FC, the new professional soccer team that will kick off its inaugural season campaign on March 28th at Louisville Slugger Field, announced three more acquisitions to the club. Goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh, English forward, Cameron Lancaster and Serbian forward Ilija Ilic.

Lancaster started his career in the Tottenham Hotspur Academy and made his debut for the English Premier League team under former Spurs head coach, Harry Redknapp. In 2014 the 6-foot striker went on-loan to Stevenage where he connected on a wonder goal from 40-yards out. Lancaster went on to St. Albans City for another loan stint. He made for appearances and scored twice for the Saints.

While on trial with Louisville City FC, the 22-year-old wasted no time displaying his talents. In the club's first friendly he broke a 2-2 draw in the 89th minute with a superb strike to give his team the 3-2 win over Indiana University.

"We invited Cameron to come on trial with us last month," head coach James O'Connor said. "It was obvious within the first few days of training that he had great potential. He has the ability to score a lot of goals for us this season."

Ilic was a former teammate of Louisville City midfielder Niall McCabe at Young Harris College. Ilic left Young Harris holding the school record for most points in a season. In 2014 he was voted the NCAA Division 2 Player of the Year, finishing second in all of NCAA Division II in goals scored with 27.

The 6-foot-2 Belgrade, Serbia native had also been on trial with the club and has been able to show how his powerful right boot can help Louisville City. The 23-year-old scored a goal and was responsible for another in LCFC's 5-0 win over Lindsey-Wilson.

"Ilija is another player that we have been fortunate to sign," O'Connor said. "He has a strong right foot that is going to lead to many goals for us. He was constantly filling the stat sheet at Young Harris, and we now that we have seen what he can do first hand, we are thrilled to have him on board."

Ranjitsingh is a 22-year-old from Pickering, Ontario. In his four years as the starting goalkeeper at Mercer University, Ranjitsingh led the conference in many statistical categories including save percentage and average goals allowed. He finished his collegiate career as one of the top keepers in the country. In one preseason game with Louisville, Ranjitsingh registered a clean sheet in a 5-0 win over Lindsey-Wilson.

"We invited Greg to come on-loan to us a few weeks ago," O'Connor said. "During his time with us he proved that he has the skills to be a quality goalkeeper. Obviously we are excited to have gotten Greg here and thrilled to have him here in Louisville."

Lancaster, Ilic, Ranjitsingh and the rest of the Louisville City FC squad continue their preparation for the club's inaugural season.
