Louisville City FC News Release
LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (March 26, 2015) -- - In the first of two major reveals today regarding the Louisville City FC inaugural season jersey, the club announced its partnership with Louisville-based health and well-being company Humana Inc. Humana's logo will be placed across the front of the club's 2015 jersey. The partnership allows the club and Humana to work hand-in-hand with the Louisville community to lead personal wellness initiatives that bring greater awareness to the importance of a healthier lifestyle.
"Having the support from Humana for our club's inaugural season campaign is invaluable," said general manager Amanda Duffy. "Humana is a Louisville-based, Fortune 500 company, and their focus on the Louisville community to educate and activate programs that positively impact the lives of individuals and families is consistent with our goals as we establish our club and all of our players in this city. We couldn't be more excited to partner with Humana from the beginning and develop new opportunities that will continue to make Louisville a better place for our fans."
"Humana understands to successfully support a community's health, we have to support a variety of interests," said Jennifer Bazante, vice president of Marketing for Humana. "For many of us, soccer is the first sport we play, and 17,000 Louisville residents are currently active soccer players. We're looking forward to introducing many more to this exciting sport and encouraging fans and their families to be active and have fun together."
Humana will be the presenting partner for all Louisville City FC camps and clinics. Additionally, Louisville City FC and Humana will host a Humana Day at Louisville Slugger Field.
