The Great Lakes Loons swept both games of a doubleheader Monday night winning Game One against the West Michigan Whitecaps 5-4 and taking Game Two 3-0.
In the first game with the score tied 4-4, Tommy Giles, playing in his first game as a Loon, delivered an RBI single to score Josh Bell with the go-ahead run. Giles went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBIs, James Peterson had four hits in four at-bats, and Matt Berezay had two hits - both doubles.
