Loons Pound Lugnuts Twelve-Run Win Loons Most Lopsided of Season LANSING, MI - Thursday night, the Great Lakes Loons pounded out 16 hits en route to a convincing 13-1 win over the home-standing Lansing Lugnuts for the Loons' most lopsided victory of the season.

Paxson followed in relief for 3 1/3 perfect innings and his first save of 2010.
Every Loons starter notched at least one hit in the contest. Nick Buss and Chris Jacobs had two hits and two RBIs each.
The Loons did most of their damage in the middle three innings with three runs in the fourth and sixth innings and four in the fifth.
The Loons improve to a professional baseball best 69-32 and 26-6 in the second half second half.
Lefty Ryan Christenson is scheduled to make his first start of the year with the Loons Friday night in Lansing. He will be opposed by right-hander Ryan Shopshire (7-8, 5.10 ERA). Game time is scheduled for 7:05pm. It will be broadcast live on ESPN 100.9-FM and on Loons.com.
