Carlos Frias (W, 1-1) earned his first win of the 2014 season after allowing two runs on seven hits over 7.2 excellent innings for the Lookouts. Jarret Martin would record the final out of the eighth, but allowed two runs in the top of the ninth, exiting with the bases loaded after recording only one. Pedro Baez (SV, 3) earned the save for Razor Shines' ballclub by getting the final two outs of the ninth.

Anthony DeSclafani (L, 2-1) took the loss for the first time in his three starts in 2014, allowing three runs on nine hits while striking out five Lookouts in a season-best seven innings of work.

Much like the Suns' final two contests in Birmingham, Jacksonville would hop on the scoreboard first. On Monday night, Jacksonville grabbed a run in the top of the first courtesy of a Brady Shoemaker RBI groundout.

The Suns would add to their lead with an Austin Nola RBI base hit in the top of the fifth, but the Suns wouldn't hold their lead for much longer.

Chattanooga pulled to within a run after Ozzie Martinez ripped a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. Later in the inning, Darnell Sweeney drove in two runs with a single of his own to give the Lookouts a 3-2 advantage after five innings of play.

The Suns were held scoreless through the eighth inning, with the Lookouts getting three insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, including a Darnell Sweeney (HR, 1) solo home run and a Jeremy Hazelbaker RBI triple.

But Jacksonville showed signs of life in the ninth, scoring twice to push Jarret Martin out of the game. But Pedro Baez was able to thwart the Suns' comeback attempt; recording the final two outs to secure Chattanooga's fourth win of 2014.

The Suns and Lookouts will be back at it Tuesday night with first pitch scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET from AT&T Field. Jacksonville will start left-hander Andrew Heaney (1-0, 2.38) and he'll be countered by the righty Tyson Brummet (0-0, 0.00) for the Lookouts.
