
Reyes activated, Kleinknecht to Lynchburg

PEARL, MS -- Mississippi Braves infielder Barrett Kleinknecht has been reassigned to High-A Lynchburg from Double-A Mississippi, and infielder Elmer Reyes has been activated from the disabled list.
Kleinknecht, 25, was hitting .222 with three doubles and a homer in six games for the M-Braves this season. A native of Florence, SC, Kleinknecht was selected by the Braves in the 12th round of the 2010 draft out of Francis Marion University. He spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons at Double-A Mississippi, hitting .219 and .238 respectively.
Reyes, 23, began the season on the disabled list. He spent the entire 2013 season at High-A Lynchburg, hitting .285 in 123 games for the Hillcats. Reyes ranked fourth among all Braves minor leaguers in doubles (30) and RBI (60) last season. The Nicaraguan is on the Atlanta Braves 40-man roster. He was signed by the Braves as a non-drafted free agent on May 19, 2009.
The Mississippi roster has 25 active players and 3 disabled.
