London Knights Launch Grade 6 Math Program

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights Hockey Club is pleased to announce they will officially launch a Grade 6 Elementary online mathematics program called Knights in the Classroom in conjunction with the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board, on November 16, 2009. Data Management with the London Knights will be the first feature of the new online mathematics program. Knights in the Classroom is an exciting online mathematical program geared towards Grade 6 elementary students.
The London Knights Hockey Club is also pleased to announce Tim Hortons as their Official Educational Partner. Being able to partner Knights in the Classroom with such a great organization as Tim Hortons is truly an honour said Geoffrey Hare, Director of Marketing for the London Knights Hockey Club. Tim Hortons brings instant credibility to our new educational program.
At Tim Hortons, we believe that it is important to give back to the community where we live, work and play said store owner, Chris Sparling. We have been supporting the London Knights Hockey Club for many years. When the opportunity presented itself to be the Official Educational Partner it was an easy decision. We are excited to be apart of this new educational program to help foster the education and growth of future London Knights Hockey players to come as well as all other Grade 6 elementary students.
A special feature to the Knights in the Classroom program will see various London Knights Hockey players making surprise visits to local grade 6 classrooms during the school year.
The London Knights Hockey Club is dedicated to education and this program is a sign of their continued support and commitment to education in our community.
