
Lizon's Return Highlights Roster Moves

Wichita, KS (November 27th) - The Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League, powered by Toyota, announced several roster moves this afternoon, including the addition of Erick Lizon (LYE-zon) who has been assigned by the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Lizon, 27, returns to Wichita for his third stint after playing in the Air Capital over the past two seasons. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound winger has accumulated 234 penalty minutes and 11 points (5g, 6a) in 95 games with the Thunder. He scored a big overtime goal during last year's playoff run that helped Wichita sweep the Arizona Sundogs. The eight-year pro has spent time in the Central Hockey League with stops in Laredo and Oklahoma City (Blazers). He began the season signing with the Barons, playing in 12 games this season and collecting 25 penalty minutes. Overall, Lizon has racked up 1,044 penalty minutes in 374 career games as a pro. He is expected to be in the line-up tonight as the team hosts the Brampton Beast.
In other moves, defenseman Tyler Hostetter and forward Tomas Klempa have been activated and will be in the line-up tonight. Forward Nick McParland has been placed on 7-Day IR while also waiving forward Alexandre Carrier.
Wichita closes out its season-long home-stand this week with a pair of games against the Brampton Beast beginning tonight at 7:05 p.m. Bring a canned good to the Thunder office and receive a buy one, get one free voucher good for the Thunder's game on December 5th.
