
Lions Sign Import Defensive End Tommie Hill

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import defensive end Tommie Hill has signed with the team and has been placed on the practice roster.
Hill comes to the Lions after being released by the New York Giants earlier this month following training camp. The Colorado State grad was originally signed as undrafted free agent by the Giants in 2009 and attended camps in booth 2009 and 2010.
The Englewood, Colorado resident enjoyed a standout four-year career at Colorado State notching 14 tackles, three sacks and concluded his Rams career with a Defensive Player of the Game honour in the 2008 New Mexico Bowl.
