Lions Sign Forward Vincent Nardone

The Trois-Rivières Lions, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, continued to bolster their roster for the 2026-27 season by signing forward Vincent Nardone.

A native of Rosemère, Quebec, Nardone spent the past five seasons with the Concordia University Stingers in U Sports (OUA East Division). During the 2024-25 season, he helped the Stingers capture the OUA East championship, recording 14 points in 24 regular-season games. Concordia went on to reach the U Sports National Championship Final before falling in the title game.

Over the course of his collegiate career, the Italian-Canadian forward totaled 16 goals and 28 assists for 44 points in 70 games.

Prior to joining Concordia, the 5-foot-11 forward played for several junior organizations across Canada, including the Flin Flon Bombers and Dauphin Kings in Manitoba, as well as the Penticton Vees and Victoria Grizzlies in British Columbia.

During the 2018-19 season with the Flin Flon Bombers, Nardone was named the team's Rookie of the Year after registering 17 goals and 22 assists for 39 points in 56 games.

Nardone is excited to begin his professional career close to home with the Lions. "I'm proud to be coming to play in Trois-Rivières because it's not far from where I grew up, and I've always followed the team. Being able to start my professional career in front of my family and friends is truly special. I can't wait to begin this new chapter!"

As he makes the jump to the professional ranks, Nardone will reunite with several familiar faces, having previously played alongside Mathieu Bizier, Édouard Charron and Christopher Inniss with the Concordia Stingers.

He also joins Anthony Beauregard, Mathias Laferrière, Landon Fuller, Jake Gravelle, Isaac Dufort, Théo Gueurif, Sean Gulka, Kaleb Ergang and Félix Paré on the roster led by General Manager and Head Coach Ron Choules.
