In a battle of first-place teams, the North-leading IronPigs (57-39) play Game 2 of a four-game series against the West-leading Toledo Mud Hens (53-43) at Fifth Third Field... With a 4-3 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back games for the first time July 1-2 and fell to 2-2 on this seven-game, West Division road trip. In addition, their lead in the division was trimmed to 5.5 games over Scranton/WB. This marks the first time the Pigs have lost ground in the standings since July 4 -- a span of 15 days. Still, Lehigh Valley has won nine of its last 12 contests and owns a 28-13 record since June 3... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have won back-to-back contests after dropping four of five affairs from July 13-17. Still, the Hens own just a 16-23 record since June 7... Toledo took the first meeting, 2-1, in Allentown from June 1-3.

LHP Ranger Suarez (1-0, 0.93) will start for LHV against LHP Matt Hall (0-0, 3.38).
