Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (45-33) play Game 2 of a three-game series against the Columbus Clippers (41-37) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 5-3 loss last night, the Pigs snapped their three-game winning streak and have started 0-1 on this seven-game homestand. The Pigs lost their share of both first place in the North and the best record in the IL. Still, they've won 11 of their last 15 contests and are 30-16 since May 12... The Clippers -- Cleveland's top affiliate -- have won four of their last six contests after a 2-10 span that included a season-high, seven-game losing streak from June 9-16... The Clippers took the series at Huntington Park over the Pigs, 3-1, from May 9-12.
LHP James Russell (2-3, 5.01) will start for LHV against RHP Adam Plutko (1-1, 3.09).
Tonight features a Water Bottle Giveaway, presented by Cedar Crest College... First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
