The IronPigs (56-71) play the "rubber match" of a three-game series against the sixth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (49-79) at McCoy Stadium... With a 2-0 win last night, the Pigs have evened this series in Pawtucket at 1-1, as well as their record on this rain-shortened, five-game, North Division road trip at 2-2. Still, the Pigs have dropped eight of their last 11 contests overall and 11 of their last 14 affairs against the North Division. Yet, over a longer stretch, the Pigs are 34-29 since reaching their low-water mark on June 13 (22-42)... The Red Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- fell to 5-4 over their past nine affairs following an 11-game losing streak. The Sox have dropped 15 of their last 20 contests and are 11-40 since June 29. However, they have won four of their last six match-ups against the Pigs, including taking a four-game series, 3-1, in Allentown last weekend.

RHP Severino Gonzalez (2-5, 4.46) will start for LHV against RHP William Cuevas (1-2, 2.50).
