Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (49-61) play Game 2 of a four-game series against the West's fourth-place Toledo Mud Hens (45-63) at Fifth Third Field... With a 10-8 win in 11 innings last night, the Pigs have started 1-0 on this season-long, 10-game road trip. Even though they've dropped five of their last seven games, the Pigs have won 20 of their last 33 affairs and sport the IL's second-best record (27-19) since June 14... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have lost four games in a row and have dropped eight of their last 10 contests. In fact, they're just 10-21 since July 1... The two teams, playing for the sixth time in the last 16 days, just split a four-game set in Allentown from July 20-23.
RHP Jerad Eickhoff (9-4, 4.25 in PCL) will make his LHV debut in a start against LHP Mike Belfiore (5-9, 5.34).
First Pitch is at 7 p.m.
