The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster move affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- LHP Tanner Banks promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem
In what was his third go-around with the Dash, Banks went 8-2 with a 2.54 ERA in 13 starts for Winston-Salem this year. After starting the season with an 0-2 record, the southpaw won his last eight decisions. Overall, Banks tossed 10 quality starts over his 13 outings.
The Dash's current roster stands at 24 players, one shy of the Carolina League maximum, with three players on the disabled list and one on the temporary inactive list.
