Zebulon, NC-- The Cincinnati Reds have made multiple roster moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's game against the Montgomery Biscuits.

LHP James Adkins has been released. Adkins was 0-1 with a 5.74 ERA this year in 31 games for the Mudcats.

Mudcats infielder Jake Kahaulelio has been placed on the 7-day DL. Kahaulelio was hitting .215 with five home runs and 33 RBIs this season for the Mudcats.

Replacing them on the roster will be infielder Miguel Rojas and RHP Brandon Hynick, who are both being activated before tonight's game against Montgomery. Rojas had been on the DL since June 29th with tendonitis in his right shoulder. This was Rojas' third trip to the DL this season.

RHP Brandon Hynick is being activated off the DL after recovering from elbow soreness.
