
LHP Francisco Rondon Designated for Assignment by Yankees

Trenton Thunder News Release
The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced Saturday that LHP Francisco Rondon has been designated for assignment by the Yankees and is thus removed from the active roster. RHP Graham Stoneburner has been transferred from Triple-A Scranton to take his place.
Rondon, 25, began the season in the Trenton starting rotation but struggled in six starts and was moved back into the bullpen. In six relief outings, he has gone 0-1 with a 8.59 ERA. Overall Rondon is 2-3 in 12 appearances this season with a 7.46 ERA, and has allowed 38 runs in 35 innings pitched.
