Texas Legends News Release
FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends (11-13) grabbed a wire-to-wire victory over the Salt Lake City Stars (7-17) 115-101 Thursday night in Frisco.
Texas smothered the Stars in the first, knocking down 64% of all shots and finishing the quarter up 43-14. The Legends built up their largest lead of the night (+37) in the second and finished the first half with a 73-43 advantage. The home team's hot shooting cooled down in the second half, and as the Legends shivered through the fourth, the Stars heated up. Salt Lake City finished the fourth 31-14 and hit a 10-0 run to the buzzer, but the home team held tight to their lead to get the series-tying win.

Carlik Jones grabbed Texas' only double-double at 21 points, 11 assists, and 6 rebounds. Feron Hunt finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.
