Lexington Legends News Release
LEXINGTON, KY. â The Lexington Legends players will be wearing jerseys and gloves on the field tonight against Lakewood but the fans at Applebee's Park will be wearing jersey gloves, if they choose.
The Legends announced this afternoon that they would offer jersey gloves to any fan that requests them to help fight the âcool' temperatures tonight at the âOrchard'.
"Our commitment has always been to think of the fans first," said Legends GM Kevin Kulp. "Our fans love to come to see the Legends play so if this helps them be more comfortable while watching the game then we're thrilled."
The gloves will be handed out to fans at the gates as they enter Applebee's Park. The game is scheduled to start at 7:05pm. For more information about tickets, please contact the Applebee's Park box office at 859-422-RUNS (7867).
