(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) The Lexington Legends' current homestand continues with a Kentucky Ale Thirsty Thursday, and a Ford Fireworks show following Friday's game.

The Legends, class A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, will take on the Asheville Tourists, an affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, Thursday and Friday nights at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Game time each night is 7:05 p.m.

The schedule:

Thursday, May 8: Thursday night is Kentucky Ale Thirsty Thursday, and beer and Pepsi products will be on sale for one dollar each.

Friday, May 9: Friday night's game will be followed by a Ford Fireworks show, and the Legends will welcome Girl Scouts for an overnight campout at the ballpark following the game.

"As always, there is a lot going on at Whitaker Bank Ballpark," said Legends President/COO Andy Shea. "We were proud to have Teacher Appreciation Night Wednesday, and we really enjoy welcoming the Girl Scouts for their annual campout. Add in a Thirsty Thursday and a Ford Fireworks show Friday, and it should be a fun home stand for all our fans."
