Legendary Organist Frank Pellico Returns to The MARK

December 21, 2004 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Quad City Mallards News Release

Moline, IL-The Mallards are proud to announce that legendary Blackhawks organist Frank Pellico is returning to The MARK on January 15th. The Mallards are hosting a second edition of "Old-Time Hockey Night" as the team takes on the Elmira Jackals at 7:00 p.m. The night will be highlighted by the organ music of Pellico.

Pellico played the organ at the Chicago Stadium to entertain the arena's notoriously rowdy crowds. On January 15th, Pellico will entertain fans at The MARK in the same way. It's a throw back to the days of "Original Six" hockey when piped in rock-and-roll music was not used in favor of organ music. By popular demand, Pellico well also return on February 19th, March 12th and April 9th.

Following the game, season ticket holders are invited to stay for a post-game skate that will feature Mallards players and Pellico's organ music.

Be a part of the Mallard's "Old-Time Hockey Night" as the team takes on the Elmira Jackals. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at The MARK box office or via phone at (563) 326-1111.

The Mallards are back on the ice on Wednesday in Kalamazoo. The game marks the first meeting of the season between the Mallards and Wings. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. with a 5:35 p.m. First Capital Financial Pre-Game Show on Fox Sports Radio AM 1230. After the game, stay tuned for the Allstate Insurance Del Newton/Christy Cox Post-Game Show.

The Mallards return to home ice on Sunday, December 26th at 3:00 p.m. It's Genesis Stick Giveaway Night as the Mallards host the Fort Wayne Komets. The Mallards and Genesis are teaming up to give away 2,500 hockey sticks to fans that attend the game. Tickets are available at The MARK box office or via phone at (563) 326-1111.
