Kansas City Outlaws News Release

Over 70 youth campers have been spending their winter vacation attending the Outlaws Holiday Hockey Camp at Ice Sports Arena from December 21-23. The camp is for youth players ages 5-14 and includes on-ice instruction from Outlaws Head Coach Darryl Williams and Outlaws players Joe Seroski, Steve Yetman, Mark Lee, and the newest Outlaw and Overland Park resident Mark Uvodich.

At 9 a.m., the 70 campers will take the ice and receive hands-on instruction from Outlaw leading scorer Joe Seroski and other Outlaws players. The players will also lead the campers through a set of drills and give them tips on what it takes to become a professional athlete.

The campers will participate in one hour of off-ice instruction and a one hour classroom lesson before taking the ice again at 2:15 p.m. Skills competitions will be held at the end of the camp for the fastest skater, hardest shooter, most accurate shooter, top stick handler, top goal scorer, and top goaltender.

The Outlaws finish up a nine-game home stand on Tuesday, December 21 at 7 p.m. against the Missouri River Otters before heading on the road for six games.
