Leduc Reassigned to Bridgeport

Stockton, Calif - The Stockton Thunder, owned by the Calgary Flames and proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, have had Loic Leduc reassigned to the Sound Tigers by the Islanders.

Leduc, 20, is in his first professional season after finishing his QMJHL career with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and Rimouski Oceanic. The 6'7" defenseman was drafted in the fourth round (103rd Overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Islanders.

The Chateauguay, Quebec native has played 44 games for the Thunder this season, scoring 3 goals and adding 2 assists. Leduc scored his first professional goal on October 18 against Ty Rimmer and the Bakersfield Condors.
