
Embach, Szydlowski Return to Komets

Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets announced Monday that forwards Mike Embach and Shawn Szydlowski have been released by Norfolk of the American Hockey League and will return to the Fort Wayne lineup. Embach and Szydlowski were both called up to the Admirals March 3 and each served three games during their stay.
Embach was scoreless with two penalty minutes during the call-up. The Orland Park, Illinois native leads the Komets with 35 assists and 55 points in 52 games this season while posting a +21.
Szydlowski dished an assist during the Norfolk stint. It was his fourth call-up this season including two stints with Lake Erie totaling five games and a three-game call to Binghamton. The St. Clair Shores, Michigan native currently leads the Komets with 25 goals while adding 26 assists for 51 points and earning a +19 in 42 games.
The Komets have four games in five nights slated for this week. Wednesday's game at Kalamazoo at 7pm will make up the game postponed last Saturday at Kalamazoo due to poor ice conditions.
Friday the Komets host Toledo at 8pm before traveling to Cincinnati Saturday for a 7:35 faceoff at U.S. Bank Arena. Sunday the Komets and Cyclones return to Fort Wayne for a 5pm matinee at the Coliseum.
Komets at the Tilted Kilt Tuesday-- Komet players including Kaleigh Schrock, Mike Embach, Cody Sol and Ian Barteaux will be appearing at the Tilted Kilt in Jefferson Pointe Tuesday from 6:30pm-8pm. Fans are invited to take photos and get autographs while watching previous Komet games at the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery.
Friday night Marathon Nights-- Fans can earn a buy-one-get-one-free ticket offer with the purchase of three fill-ups at any participating Marathon location. Save with your Marathon Fill-Up Card this Friday when the Komets host the Toledo Walleye.
KIDS SEAT FREE Sunday-- The Komets will host Cincinnati on another Kids Seat Free Night, courtesy Aunt Millie's, Parkview Health and the Komets on Sunday at 5pm. Any child under the age of 12 can see the game for free with a full-priced adult ticket purchase. Bring your skates-- Also, fans are invited to bring their skates for a free postgame skate courtesy Wendy's.
