INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, held on for a thrilling, 5-4 shootout win over the Evansville IceMen on Friday at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana before falling in a fight-filled affair to the Wheeling Nailers at Indiana Farmers Coliseum by a 4-3 final score on Saturday and dropping a 5-3 decision to the Kalamazoo Wings on Sunday in the Fuel's first trip to Kalamazoo, Michigan's Wings Stadium. Following the week's action, Indy's record stands at 24-25-4-4 overall this season and with 56 points, the Fuel sit alone in fifth place in the ECHL's North Division standings, just two points shy of the fourth-place Cincinnati Cyclones and the North Division's final playoff spot.
